David Mosen, PhD, MPH, is a trained health services researcher and has more than 11 years of experience conducting applied program evaluation research within health delivery systems. As a Senior Program Evaluation Consultant and Practice Leader of the Research Response Team, he leads region-wide program evaluation activities and serves as the point of initial contact for clinicians with research questions. David received his masters and doctoral degree in Health Services Research from the UCLA School of Public Health. Prior to coming to CHR, David worked for KP’s Care Management Institute.

Kathy Arnold RN, BSN, has a broad span of clinical nursing experience and 10 years of clinical research experience, managing large federal trials, as well as drug and device trials. Areas of research expertise include but are not limited to Women’s Health, Pulmonology, HIV Disease, Hepatitis, Critical Care, Rheumatology, Cardiovascular and Ophthalmology.

Dan Laferriere has clinical nursing experience in critical care and 10 years of hospital nursing unit management including program development and service delivery changes. He has both project and clinical research management experience in multi-centered health promotion, lifestyle, and behavior change studies. His project management experience comprises electronic medical record alerting studies, including needs assessment and educational program development.

Dr. Feldstein has been a Kaiser Permanente physician and researcher for nearly 20 years. In addition to her oversight of five or six full-time research studies, Dr. Feldstein maintains a clinical practice seeing patients. She also serves as assistant medical liaison for research and is an expert in the design of quality improvement studies.
